Islamabad, being the capital of Pakistan, the city has a number of important Government offices like Parliament, federal Government offices, president house, Prime Minister House, embassies and other important places. However, the relatively newborn city which was once considered a very non-happening town (in terms of the hubbub which is the forte of all major cities in Pakistan, otherwise it has been a very “happening” city since its inception thanks to the political instability in the country), however it’s gradually becoming more active and lively. Civil Junction: Located in the Gol Market, Sector F, it very popular among youth because of its live music arrangements by upcoming band. Mainly a coffee house, they provide coffee and different types of drinks and mock-tail.

Ye old hangout: Located in Jinnah Super, Ye Old hangout is a wonderful coffee shop and Sheesha bar, even though the menu is not that diverse but the place is mainly designed for youngsters.

China Town Restaurant: Another famous restaurant in Islamabad, it offers best Chinese cuisine in Islamabad, which makes it one of the most visited restaurants of Islamabad. The restaurant is famous for their Hot pot and has a very loyal clientele.

Papa Sallis: A well known place for steaks and pizzazz, offering wide variety of Pizzazz (prices are quite high and at times the food is not compatible with our desi taste).

Melody Food Street: Following the success of Food streets in Lahore, Melody Food Street was developed with diversity of food. The street consisted of many popular national and international restaurants, offering wide range of B.B.Q and other popular foods, however it was closed due to safety reasons.
